FAQs

Common questions about our physical therapy services at Elevation Athletics.

What conditions do you treat?

We specialize in treating active adults dealing with orthopedic injuries and pain that keeps them from training and life.

Common conditions include shoulder pain, knee injuries, back pain, hip issues, sports-related injuries, and post-surgical rehab.

We also offer specialized pelvic health physical therapy for prenatal, postpartum, and pelvic floor concerns. If pain or dysfunction is holding you back, we can help.

How long are your treatment sessions?

Every appointment is a full 60 minutes of one-on-one time with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. You'll never be handed off to a tech or rushed through your session.

This extended time allows us to provide hands-on treatment, teach you exercises, answer questions, and make sure you understand your plan.

It's one of the biggest differences between Elevation Athletics and traditional PT clinics.

What makes your approach different?

We're performance-driven, not just pain-focused. Yes, we'll eliminate your pain—but we'll also make you stronger, more resilient, and better prepared to handle the demands of your sport or activities.

We use real strength training equipment (barbells, kettlebells, dumbbells) alongside advanced techniques like dry needling and manual therapy.

Our Doctors of Physical Therapy are athletes themselves, so we understand what it takes to perform at your best.

Do I need a referral to start physical therapy?

No! In Texas, you can see a physical therapist for up to 3 weeks without a referral.

If you want to submit for insurance reimbursement, we can help you get a referral after your evaluation.

Most clients start with a free consultation to see if we're the right fit before committing to treatment.

What should I expect at my first appointment?

Your first visit is a comprehensive 60-minute evaluation. We'll discuss your pain, your goals, and your training or activity history.

Then we'll perform a thorough assessment of your movement, strength, and the injured area. You'll leave with a clear diagnosis, a personalized treatment plan, and we'll start hands-on care during that first visit.

No waiting weeks to begin treatment—we get started immediately.
